Just in time for the SuperBowl, new Football clipart

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

The Superbowl is just over a week away, and as one of our great members pointed out we didn’t have much for football images and clipart.  So there it was, we needed to make some football graphics.

Now most of us here happen to be Minnesota Vikings football fans, as the Minnesota border is only a few miles from our office.  Last Friday’s game was pretty disappointing, but as Vikings fans you learn to live with disappointment.  But we are excited for the Saints and their first trip to the Superbowl.

The Superbowl is the most watched television program of the year here in the USA.  Hopefully you can make some good use of these images for you Superbowl parties.  I plan to make some animations to go along with these football images in the next couple of days.

As always if there is a special type of image or animation you would like to see on PresenterMedia, please let us know.  We do our best to fill our customers requests.

New Animated Templates for PowerPoint 2010

Monday, January 25th, 2010

We’ve been having a blast working with the new version of PowerPoint, PowerPoint 2010. It’s new video features have opened up a flood gate of ideas on how we can incorporate our animation skills into ready to use PowerPoint templates. Today we started adding PowerPoint 2010 animated templates to PresenterMedia. A key feature of these new templates is the included video background. Each 2010 PPT we upload features a looping video file integrated with the design.

Download animated templates for PowerPoint 2010 here.

Since PowerPoint 2010 now supports text over video, you can easily add your own content right over the video we have included. We hope you find these new templates useful. If you’d like to try out PowerPoint 2010, Microsoft has release the beta version you can download here.

PowerPoint 2010 Excitement

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

We’ve been getting to know the beta version of PowerPoint 2010, and we are very impressed.  The multimedia, animation and video features of PowerPoint 2010 have been greatly improved.  This week we have officially started to create templates and animations specifically to support the new features of PPT2010.

In the near future PresenterMedia will be adding a complete library of video backgrounds as well as animated PowerPoint templates to support the launch of PowerPoint 2010.  In the mean time check out this demonstration video from Microsoft showing off some of the new features of 2010.

Customizing a PowerPoint Template

Friday, January 15th, 2010

While we try to offer you a wide range of pre-designed layouts in our templates, often you need something just a little bit different.  Not to worry, our templates come with many easy to manipulate customizable elements to change the whole look of you presentation.

When we are building our PPT templates, we try to leave as many as the design elements intact so they may be further customized.  For example we will use PNG images with transparent background and then layer them in PowerPoint.  You can then take those design elements and make more modifications to them.  Using PowerPoint built in tools, you can change the color, add effects, move, resize, copy and paste to another page, or completely remove the elements from your presentation.

For example I’ll use this template created by PresenterMedia artist, Judd Albrecht.

Atom Molecule PowerPoint Template

The large image of the atom can be removed, resized, recolored, or used in other pages.  Here I have resized the atom element to fit with the title.  I used the picture recolor tool to change the atom and the swooshes to a lavender color.  I also removed the logo place holder in the lower right-hand corner.  Here is the end result.

After Customization of the Template

These changes were all made in a few minutes right inside PowerPoint.  You can access all the elements, modify the design layouts, and change background by viewing the Slide Master.  This is located under the View tab on the PowerPoint ribbon (the tool bar at the top of PowerPoint).

I hope this sparks some ideas as to the versatility of our templates.

Good Presenting!
