We sure do love stick figures. And judging by the amount of stick figures that get downloaded from PresenterMedia, you enjoy a good 3D stick figure as well. With all that popularity, you’d think they would be happier. But if you check out some of our most recent 3D stick figure images, our figures are looking a bit bored, sad, and even depressed.

I’m not sure what’s up with them, maybe their World Cup team isn’t doing well. But they sure will be useful at expressing an emotion in your next presentation.

We are happy to announce that PresenterMedia has partnered with Microsoft’s Office.com as a featured PowerPoint template provider. Several of PresenterMedia’s templates for PowerPoint are now available through Office.com. The release of PowerPoint 2010 makes it easy and fun to incorporate multimedia, video and animations into your presentation.
PresenterMedia Partners with Microsoft's Office.com
It’s here. The release version of PowerPoint 2010 arrived today as part of Office 2010 in stores for everyone. If you’re thinking about making the jump to PowerPoint 2010, we think you’ll be well pleased. We’ve been working with the beta version of PowerPoint 2010 since January and have found it to be well worth it.
If you are used to PowerPoint 2007, moving to 2010 is so easy and so worth it. The ribbon which Microsoft introduced with 2007 remains and its even easier to use. Microsoft has also given PowerPoint an awesome set of multimedia tools, including the ability to embed video in your presentations.
It’s this new multimedia support that really has excited us here at PresenterMedia. PPT 2010 allows us to stretch the definition of what a PowerPoint template is. Now we can utilize video and 3D effects in ways never possible before in PowerPoint.
We are often asked how easy it is to change our PowerPoint templates. Everything in our templates can be moved, sized, copied or deleted from the template. I thought I would show some of the things you can do with our templates. In order to make these changes you will need to be slightly familiar with the Slide Master and how it works to control the layout and the design of a PowerPoint template.
You can access the Slide Master by clicking on the view tab on the PowerPoint Ribbon.

Under the Slide Master you will find all the elements we have used to create the overall design of the template. If you are editing an animated template, you will find the video files here that we use. Also each swoosh, swoop, design box or divider we use in the template is located here as well.
Note: one exception is the 3D clip art we use is placed directly on the individual slides and is not part of the Slide Master.
There are typically several elements layered on top of each other, so you’ll want to have the selection pane open as well.

Under the home tab in the ribbon, choose Select > Selection Pane. The selection pane gives a list of all the elements that are on the slide and in what order they are stacked on top of each other. Tip: This is a great way to get to an element that might be hidden beneath a text box or other element.

We’ve recently been asked by one of our members to increase the amount of construction and industrial images we have available. Specifically she was looking for our popular 3D stick figures to be wearing a hardhat. Of course we were happy to comply if it meant more 3D stick figures to make.

These new figures are perfect to illustrate the concept of construction or building. They could be used to indicate a work in progress or a team working toward finishing a goal.

There are also versions of this construction clipart with out the tool belts. We also created some general construction related images as well.
