Risk Management Images

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

We were recently asked by a few of our subscribers to create some new Risk Management images and clipart.  Specifically images related to risk control, risk assessment and risk measurement.  A couple of our artists, Josh Doohen and Art Holden, worked together to take the popular risky dice images to create this new series of risk management clipart.

New Color Changer for Presentation Clipart

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

We are proud to announce a new feature to PresenterMedia.  Today we released an update to our Presntation Clipart Customizer.   You now have full control over the colors in any of our cliparts.

We get several suggestions and requests asking for different color variations of our presentation clipart.  We’ve tried to honor all of those requests as we get them, but this is a much better solution.  Wish that stick figure was red instead of blue?  It’s now just a quick adjustment away and you can download it right away.

Here is a video showing the color changer in action:

Click the play button to see how our color changer works.

Give it a try, and we’d love to hear your feedback.  If it looks like our subscribers like the new feature, we’ll roll it out to the animations as well.

All our clip art images can be downloaded as a PNG with a transparent background.  We have already done all the hard work of isolating the image for you.

New Animated Template Category

Friday, February 5th, 2010

We’ve been totally taken with the new video features of PowerPoint 2010, so we have created an new category of video animated PowerPoint templates.

Notice in the example above, the text is over the video.  This was something that was impossible in previous versions of PowerPoint.  Also of note, the above video was created directly from PowerPoint 2010.  So it is now very easy to convert your slide show into a video.

Unlike past versions of PowerPoint, PPT 2010 handles video just like another element in your presentation.  Therefore you can control the depth of the video in your presentation.  For example you can use the video as a background behind your text or other graphics, or layer the video over other elements.   We typically build our templates using PNG images with transparent backgrounds.  Using PowerPoint 2010 we can take those PNG images and layer them in creative ways over our video to create new stunning video animated PowerPoint templates.  We hope you enjoy them.

If there is a specific presentation theme you would like to see us add to PresenterMedia.  Please let us know.

Good Presenting!

PNG Images, a PowerPoint Templates Best Friend

Friday, January 8th, 2010

When we launched PresenterMedia, we knew we wanted to provide 3D clipart for use in PowerPoint.  And we knew that the clipart needed to look good no matter what background or template they would be used in.  Enter transparent PNGs.

What’s a Transparent PNG?

A transparent PNG is simply an image that has the ability to make parts of itself transparent. The parts can be completely transparent, or only semi-transparent.  Technically this is called using an alpha channel.

As you may have noticed on PresenterMedia, you can control the amount of shadows and reflections you can add to a piece of our Presentation Clipart using our image customizer.  This is especially powerful when you download your images as PNGs.   As a transparent PNG, that image can be used over the top of anything in PowerPoint.  Its background will be transparent and its shadow and reflection will blend perfectly with whatever background or elements you have put behind it.
