Bookmarking Videos in PowerPoint 2010

Posted on: Jan, 2013 By: Mike Weber
Today we took a look at PowerPoint 2010's ability to bookmark a video.  You may wonder what the reason behind bookmarking may be, or more importantly, how it can help your presentation.

In this video, we demonstrate how to add bookmarks and use them to trigger animations, specifically text entrance effects.  Once you learn the basics to bookmarking, the sky is the limit with what you can use them for.  Use them to pause your video at a certain point when you know you'll have questions from the audience, then simply click the "play" button below the video to continue.  Otherwise, you can use the bookmarks to have items enter and exit at specific points of the video.
