This is the day to reach out to customers, potential customers, and former customers and listen to their feedback. Create a private Facebook Group

Although your business page is a great place to touch base with your customers, a private Facebook group allows customers to get to know each other and to openly discuss problems and suggestions. This community is a great way for customers to ask questions in a casual way and get multiple responses. Meanwhile, you as the business manager can see what problems are cropping up, and what areas have room for improvement, without spamming your customers with feedback forms.

Get to know your customers by seizing Opportunities from Opposition

If you receive a negative review, take that as an opportunity to connect with that customer and learn what you could have done differently. In some cases, negative reviews can turn into repeat customers and your strongest advocates.

Seek out Answers through Q&A’s

Consider sending out questionnaires to customers, and include incentives for them to fill them out. Popular incentives include discounts for memberships or exclusive access to content. Not only does this get you the information you want, but it helps strengthen relationships with existing customers by keeping your name at the forefront. Finally, if you ask a non-business related question as well, you can get to know your customers more personally.

For realtors, create a presentation that focuses on your customers and finish it with a section for feedback.

Seek out customers on Blogs and Forums

Although you may have already found your customers on Social Media, consider scouring the internet for groups and blogs where users post their problems. Use these problems as stepping stones to creating solutions for your customers.
